DJ RECYCLING · WORTHINGFIND THE RIGHT SERVICE
Waste removal isn't one-size-fits-all. A skip can work well when you have space to load waste over several days. A booked collection may be more practical if you're disposing of a few bulky items or don't have room for a skip. A house clearance is different again: the enquiry may involve several rooms, furniture and access arrangements.
Use this Worthing page to choose the right starting point. For detailed skip sizes and prices, go straight to our skip hire guide. For labour and collection enquiries, see rubbish removal or house clearance.
START WITH YOUR JOB
These are the three most common routes. Each service has its own details, so you don't have to guess which type of booking is appropriate.

Ask about a collection if you have furniture, bags or other unwanted items and would prefer not to arrange and fill a skip.

Discuss a house clearanceSKIP OR COLLECTION?
A skip gives you a container to load over the agreed period. It can be convenient for ongoing DIY work, provided the waste type is accepted and the delivery vehicle has a safe place to stop.
A rubbish collection is generally a better enquiry if the items are already gathered or there is no suitable place to position a skip. For larger multi-room jobs, start with the house clearance team rather than choosing a skip size prematurely.
Price check: The published mixed/general-waste skip prices are £125 for 2 yards, £220 for 4 yards, £250 for 6 yards and £320 for 8 yards, all excluding VAT. Other waste types have different prices; soil and hardcore must not go into 6- or 8-yard general-waste skips. See the full price and waste guide.
MORE WAYS WE CAN HELP
Choose the service that best describes your job. Availability and acceptance of specialist materials or machinery should be confirmed when you enquire.
WORTHING DELIVERY & ACCESS
Tell us about the property before booking. Access affects whether a skip or a collection service is the better choice.
A skip on a suitable private driveway normally doesn't need a road skip licence. We still need enough vehicle clearance and a firm, appropriate surface. Let the team know about parked cars, overhead obstacles, narrow gates and any uneven ground.
West Sussex County Council requires the skip operator to obtain a licence for placement on a public highway, including certain private streets with public access. Standard applications require at least ten working days' notice. See the official county council skip guidance before planning road placement.

WORTHING CUSTOMER QUESTIONS
We can confirm service availability for your specific postcode and waste type when you contact the team.
A skip can suit suitable waste from an ongoing clear-out when you can load it yourself and have space for delivery. If you only have a few bulky items or no space for a skip, ask about rubbish removal instead.
Standard DJ Recycling skip hire includes seven days, delivery and collection. Confirm the hire period, waste category, VAT and any additional-day charge when obtaining your quote.
Road placement requires permission. In West Sussex the skip operator obtains the highway licence where one is needed, and standard applications generally need at least ten working days' notice. Tell us early if private-land placement isn't possible.
Yes, you can enquire about our sofa-collection or mattress-disposal services. Tell us the item dimensions, number of items, stairs and access details so we can confirm the collection arrangement and quote.
DJ Recycling advertises coverage across selected surrounding West Sussex towns, including Lancing, Shoreham, Littlehampton and others. See the service areas directory and send your postcode to confirm availability.
Share your postcode, waste types and approximate quantity, plus a photo of the waste or proposed delivery position when possible. If you're unsure whether the waste is accepted, ask before loading or booking.
